In about 500 meters away you will find a supermarket, small market stalls, where you can buy fresh fruits, vegetables and fresh fish from the dealers, also various restaurants are available in Bentota. The city of Aluthgama 1 km and Dharga Town are about 3 km away, where you will find other shopping, shops and the famous Monday Market (fruit and vegetables) as well as banks (cash machines). If you arrive by train, you must get off Bentota train station, there are always Tuk-Tuks waiting for hires.
